FARM ORGANISATION
We can meet different kind of quail's farms, but 3
of them worth to be disscused:
a) a mixed farm for eggs and flowls
b) a profiled farm on meat products
c) a profiled farm on egg product
At their turn, the farms can have a fluent complete
course (reproduct, incubations product (flowl-egg).
MIXED FARM FOR FLOWL AND EGGS
This fluently organisation having an equal activity
during the whole year also the farm of medium dimenssions
will have the next steps:
-the parents:
-the youth 0-6 weeks having 600 heads a serie.
-grown-up 7-34 weeks having 800 females and 264 males
from which:
7-14 weeks having 200 females and 66 males
15-21 weeks having 200 females and 26 males
22-28 weeks having 200 females and 66 males
29-34 weeks having 200 females and 66 males
The incubation station
- 1 incubator x 4000 places eggs
- 1eclozinator x 200 places eggs
The increasing youth
- the capacity 10500 places a serie (7 module x 1500
places)
The cutting spot
- for 625 quails a week
THE PROFILED FARM ON FLOWL'S PRODUCTION
Regarding the matterial possibilities and also the
availeble space the farm for the flowl's productions
could be predicted with a series of reproducts, incubation
station alone with the cutting spot.
The farm organisation is:
-the parents
- youth - 0-6 weeks
- adult - 7-34 weeks
Incubation station
1 incubator
1 eclozinator (50% from capacity of the incubator)
- increasing chicken meat (7 module)
- cutting spot
From every adult female we obtain eggs for 29 weeks
139 eggs x 90% incubated x 72%, rezults 90 chickens
a day.
A PROFILE FARM ON EGGS PRODUCTION
The simplest farm is the homely one made up from only
one minibaterry of 30-35 quails, who assures the strictly
product of eggs of han, of a family composed of 3-5
memebers, in which the conuming eggs is replaced for
good with the quails eggs, famoused as being the diet
eggs comparring with other spices of poultry (the hen,
duck, guinea hen,). One hen's egg, weighting 62 gr can
be replaced with a 5 eggs of quail.
THE GROWING OF THE PRODUCTION YOUTH
It could be grown as much as on earth, as inside batterries.
For the bouth systems of growing we need:
- the washing and the desinfection of the growing species
and there rest at least a week before beeing populated.
-kepping one day chickens in eclonizator till the perfect
drying of those. We don't have to be affraid of there
starving because they have food supply for 24 hours.
-the covering of the earth or inside the cage, if necessary,
to be dry never wet aranged uniform.
-the warming system has to be in function in time, because
when it becomes populated, the emperature is 37-40c
-at the period of becoming populated, it is recomanded
as the chickens to be let there about 30 min in dark
for resting.
- we have to be assured that there is water at the medium
temperature, otherwise the low temperature can couse
indigestions and too high permits to be full raised
vitamines and the chickens will be taken to the populated
zone, one by one, having their beak inside the water,
for a first hydration, in order to occupy their adjusted
places.
-the growing of youth it is made in too fases:
(the preparation: 10 days winter, 7 days summer) and
the growing till 5 weeks, after they will be transfered
to the adults spaces.
THE EXPOATATION OF THE ADULT QUAILS FOR REPRODUCTIONS
owing to the fact that almost 40 days the quail starts
her eggs in the batterry of adults has to be done almost
5 weeks (35 days). The density in the cage has to be
80-100 heads on a square metter. So, for
saving spaces, the cages are arranged back in back,
between the cages, we put some adjusting pipe for supplying
water and food. Under the fodder pipe in a frontal wall
we have a space of 2,7 cm for rolling egg into recolecting
shelf.Tthe body temperature of the quail is 40-41 C.
In winter time we have a large density of the inferior
levels of the batterry and in the summer it will grow
low at all levels. A quail egg is weighting 10% from
the adult female weight. The production of eggs takes
only 22-24h
INCUBATION
After the incubated egg, having a good shelf, and clean,
in good conditions, we have to keep the eggs in temperature
10-15 C, but not for long time during the keeping the
eggs have to be rolled with 180 C.
quail incubator needs 100 eggs till dozen, and can be
as surphace or quantity. Normally, it takes modiificaton
for the hen incubators, regarding, the temperature and
humidity. The rolling-eggs 2,3 times in 24 h, is necessary
for avoiding the steakof the yolk of an egg to the shelf,
and the death of the embryo. After 14 days from the
incubation the eggs are delievered in the ecluzinater.
in here the eggs are porred daily with warm water, for
avoiding deshidratation of the eggsthe breaking of the
egg it is made in the large areea of the egg (from about
1/3 from the head having the rrom air). From 14 days
of intriducing of the egg in incubator, the eggs can
be transported in ecluzionator. daily we have to pour
warm water for
notletting deshidratation of the eggs.
HOMELY FARM
A homely farm it is made by pleasure and pragmatic
sense. The number of the quails is 10-15 heads. U can
have plenty of eggs beside the free time you enjoy,
because the quail's eggs are diet...and recomanded for
heart affection and sexual pottential. aA man is assumed
to eat one hen egg a day. A quail make 250 eggs a year,
which imlies at the 4 members of a family 24-quails.
So for a square meter can be hosted 120 adults quails, but
for this kind of a cage, we need a special room, a hall
and a balcony and a constant temperature between 10-20
C, without noize,so we can use this kind of cage 10
years, changing the quails between them. But actually,
it is recomanded to begin the breeding with a small
number of the quails, (100) and develpping of the farm
it is made step by step, along with experience and the
open market of the eggs. for 500 quails, u need special
cages so thatis why we gather a surphace around 4mp(500x80).
That is why for havin g a large space, the cages will
be placed in the battery, for 4 levels, as for the breeding
areea will stay narrow. It is recomanded a verry freshy
room, well-lighted, having enough space for fodders,
too.
